Jubilee Jamboree

Our Kids Social presents Jubilee Jamboree as they take over the outdoor space at Escape To Freight Island for family festival vibes this May 21st!

10-12 with the option to then stay all day - every kid’s ticket comes with a massive slice of pizza and adults can buy from the amazing street food outlets open from 12. Plus of course there will be teas, coffees and a fully licensed bar.

What can you expect? All the usual OKS fun with a jubilee twist! 

Hyperreal DJ Helen will be rocking the tunes out into the Manchester sunsheeeeine with Britpop classics taking the lead. Plus we will have our two channel silent disco with all your fave classics to pick from. Get ready to let your hair down and throw your hands up with the perfect start to your Saturday. 

Hula Hula Fun will be taking over the dancefloor with fab circus skills for you to try out. Plate spinning, hula hooping, juggling - whatever you fancy, come and give it a go. 

Bricklands Lego are taking over the plant room - come and get creative with the kids and build a world of your own. With endless opportunities and thousands of bricks, this is always a firm favourite with OKS fans. 

Our regular faves The Conker Crew will be setting up in their natural habitat of the outdoors. The kids make the rules as nature rocks in this immersive area, fun for all ages.

Rebecca Jones will be setting up some red, white and blue crafts at her Art Station plus of course our graffiti table, colouring competition and Madchester murals. 

Plus we will have a very royal photo frame for your family selfies, glitter swoosh bar, an outdoors mystery trail, fab food and drink and best of all - YOU, our OKS community!

Our events are aimed at children aged 10 and under and their families but all ages are very welcome. There will be a buggy park for buggies and we recommend slings for babies on the dancefloor. Everyone coming needs a ticket and a kid’s ticket includes a massive pizza slice which will be available from 11.45 onwards. There is plenty of parking nearby or jump on the train or the tram and make the most of the Bloody Marys!
