Willow Lantern making workshops, Waterside Theatre

This Christmas we are inviting you to join willow artist Cherry Chung to help make 100's of lanterns and light up Stanley Square in Sale for a magical lantern parade on the 2nd December!

Cherry makes stunning structures from willow and she will be hosting 2 FREE workshops with limited places - so be quick to book your space!

Both sessions are on the 2nd December at 12.30pm - 2pm and 2.30pm - 4pm in the Chambers room at the Waterside theatre.

We ask you to please only book your space if you are definitely participating, no shows will result in fewer lanterns to light up the town!

The parade starts at 4.30pm at the Waterside Plaza and it will finish in Stanley Square. Led by the fabulous travelling discoteque Compact Disco and performers from Hula Hula Circus with a giant star lantern leading the way.

Wrap up warm and join the local community to follow this wonderful festive sight.

There is plenty of time to treat the family to a delicious meal either before or after the parade in one of Sale’s family friendly restaurants with festivities from Little Belters and Stalder dance academy in the Square in the afternoon too!

Suitable for age 3 +. Please reserve a ticket for all those participating.
