OKS pioneer creative family events in iconic buildings and spaces across the North West. How could they resist the opportunity for an outdoors silent disco on Brockholes’ floating village?

Starting with a crafty family arts session they will get your creative juices flowing and you can let your imagination run wild! With themed activities to make and do together, they will focus on bringing together the beautiful outdoors landscape and their funky disco beats.

They will be bringing their frivolous fancy dress box to bring on the laughs, why not take an alternative family photo - what will you choose to wear? Get your gang together at the OKS community to make laughter and memories with your nippers.

Then it’s time to grab your dancefloor props, put on your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie! With mamboing mamas and dabbing dads, it’s not just the kids who know how to strut their funky stuff! Bring your tribe and show us your moves - have you got what it takes?

Our two channel silent disco allows you to choose what you want to listen to - with kids’ pop and adults’ guilty pleasures, there is something for everyone! Had enough of the kids’ noise? Switch over for some nostalgic beats which are bound to get you grooving.

Think Trolls v Candi Staton, Gangnam vs Stone Roses and all with a side order of Ooops-up-side-your-head. Plus we have our infamous OKS dancefloor challenges to keep you on your toes - how low can you go under the OKS limbo bar and ultimately who will win the dance-off adults vs kids?!

It’s all to play for underneath the shimmering sunshine. Can you think of anything better than dancing through the summer breeze in the great outdoors at the splendidly beautiful Brockholes?

Everyone attending MUST have a ticket - adults and children. Babes in arms go free - please bring a carrier for the dancefloor!
